Check Oil Level
Twice since my last oil change I have recieved the "Check Oil Level" message on the DIC. Both times down a quart. First time I didnt think much of it, but this time Im worried.
Anybody else go through oil like this ?
I drive it like I stole it if that counts for anything ?

Sounds like you are losing or burning way to much oil for it to be normal (assuming you are not racing it on the track every weekend). I've never had to add a drop of oil between changes in 24K miles and I don't baby mine either. A trip to the dealer is in store if it keeps up... Good luck, though, they will probably say it is "normal" just to get you to go away.
Sorry - but this doesn't make sense. The transmission is in the rear of the vehicle. Perhaps you mean "bell housing". It takes a pretty big slow leak to consume a quart of oil. To my knowledge engine oil does not circulate to the rear of the vehicle.
Sounds excessive to me also; I changed mine when I took it out of storage this Spring and have driven just short of 4,000 miles including 14 autocross runs at Brainerd and mine is still at the full mark. I plan to change it again before storage in mid November. No leaks, no consumption, no issues...
I experienced something similar last summer and was a bit concerned about oil consumption. Since my oil change 3,000 miles ago, I have not used any oil whatsoever. The last oil change was at the dealer with gm filter. The previous oil change was mobil one at oil change facility with k&n filter. Hope this helps.
Check for oil consumption. Bring it to the dealer and tell them about it right away so they have records of this and the mileage.
I had a 2006 350Z before my vette and it burned about 1 quart every 2000 miles (daily driver mostly higway no racing). Went through three motors and still had the issue. Nissan had to take the car back as a lemon, and I therefore got the vette!
I'm not saying you got a lemon, but definitely let the dealership know. The more miles on the car when you take it in for the first time, the less money you get under California Lemon Law. Lemon Law is different from state-to-state, so I don't profess it is the same in RI.
Good Luck.

My car also burns oil, however, I haven't measured how much in how many miles. I keep topping up between oil changes before I get any message on the DIC. The lowest I've seen is halfway down the operating range.
And just like someone posted earlier, if you go the the dealer then they will send you away saying that it is normal. Also, no lemon law here in Canada.
