Default Electrical Problem Need Some Help Please!!!

Just when out to my 2005 C6 corvette to change a CD and seen the dome lights on. I haven’t been in the car for three days. It it started right away no problems, but, when I shut it off and walked away the dome lights stayed on. Rechecked them to make sure I did not turn them on by mistake and they were both turn off. However the lights are still staying on. Restarted the car and shut it off again same thing (Imagine that, it didn’t fix itself). Now the green light (start button) is on and does not shut off along with the dome lights. I pulled out the dome lights so it would not being pulling any electrical power from the battery but I don’t know what to do about the start button and more important I have no idea what is causing this. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

By dome lights do you mean the lights under the mirror? If so, check the push buttons on the bottom of the mirror. It sounds like you have the lights(s) in the on position.

push in the round button by your left leg....the one that dims the dash lights. You probably hit it by mistake..... I do it all the time

I'll bet this is the problem...

(After pushing there may be a turn involved...can't remember)

Get in car. Close door. Find this button, it will be easy to spot as the lights are on. Press it. Should be problem solved.

Seriously, don't. It literally vies for the number one issue on the forum. You are far from alone. Besides, you can't be stupid, you own a Corvette.
