so my mom called from her house and said that I recieved a notice that there was a piece of certified mail waiting for me at the post office that I'd have to come get. She said it looks like it's from the DMV.
Why would they send me something through certified mail? I'll find out tomorrow, but I'm racking my brain trying to figure what they'd send me that would have to come through certified mail. Any ideas??
I havent lived at their address for a couple years now, too...so that's weird.
Like the saying goes, nothing good ever happens after midnight, the same can be said about anything sent Certified mail by the DMV, something bad is about to be dropped on your doorstep.

And there is nothing that says you have to pick it up. Certified means the PO guarantees the recipient who signs for it is the one it was delivered to, not that it will be delivered at all. But going to the PO is better than finding the Sheriff ringing your doorbell at 3AM.

I picked it up this morning. It's a lien sale warning for my 06 EVO that I sold way back in like February. Apparently the new owner got the car towed in JULY and now the DMV is letting me know that the car is going to be sold to satisfy the lien...WTF.
1. I don't care what they do to the car, I sold it almost a year ago.
2. Why would I still be notified of this? I released my interest on the car, with the DMV, the DAY I sold the car...
3. Why would they be having a lien sale for a $400 bill???!?!
