Default Optima Yellow top question

Just suppose, for sake of argument, that some jackazz tech let your Optima Yellow Top run down, would it return to a good stable charge once recharged or would it need to be replaced?

I have run down the Optima Red Tops and with a normal overnight charge they seem to be OK. This wasn't on my Z06 however. I would definitely give it a try. Just my 2 cents!!

Any time a battery is taken down it never FULLY recovers, it will come back and keep a charge but never back to 100%

Kinda of like getting drunk and killing brain cells...

You'll be fine and so will your battery!

If it's a deep cycle it's made to take hits, you bought a great battery...lots of drinking left in it!

Dual-purpose
Deep cycling and cranking power all packed into one battery.
Longer life
Lasts up to 2 times longer than traditional flat-plate batteries.
Higher reserve capacity
Constant performance quality, which keeps your battery running at the same level even as it's being discharged.
Optimal starting power
More power in the initial 1, 3, 5, and 10 seconds of the starting process than comparably rated conventional lead-acid batteries.
Longer shelf-life (lower self-discharge)
Ideal for seasonal use, fully charged it can sit unused for up to 12 months at room temperature (or below) and still start a vehicle.
