Once again in the northeast, it's time to put our toys away. What a great season it was! Excellent weather for the most part, our first full season in the C6 as well. We put on about 5000 miles and had a great time while doing so. If there is a bright side to storing a Vette, in the spring it feels like you're getting a new one all over again! Oh well, battery tender connected, Sta-Bil in the tank, detailed and covered.

Sad but true, I'm pushing it a couple more weeks and then it's time for a winters nap.

Don't forget to over-inflate the tires too.

Waiting till the first snow storm, when the sand and chemicals go on the roads, and then the vette goes to bed for the winter. Chevelle is already put away.

nice garage! i got another month of so in VA...unless we get a freak snow storm and they salt.. once they salt the first time, mine hits the hay..

i guess i dont need to tell you, be carefull with that car cover, if its the one the think (i had one for the 97 Firehawk and 97 Comp TA from slp)...its polyester loaded ..swirl mark city....
I use covercrafts indoor premire thats lined with 100% cotton flannel pile.... just a thought.

again, love your garage set up... someday i hope to do that as well.

I'm sorry you feel that way, (sissy vette). I drive my car in all kinds of weather, except for snow, which we get a lot of. I feel safer in my 4X4 truck in the winter than a Vette. To each his or her own. I will enjoy looking at my car warm and dry every day instead of looking at a salt covered POS sports car.

Still plenty of time to drive our vettes, it's 70 here in Minnesota. I know not for long but it's still way to early to put them away. We try and take ours out in the winter as long as the roads are dry and snow free.
