Default I want to get a Kid's 'Vette for Junior

Christmas is coming up and I've been looking at kiddy Car Corvette's for my 2 yr. old Grandson. I have seen some really cool one's in Magazine Pic's Car Show displays and on Speed Channel & some other places from time to time.

Now when I look all I see are cheesy looking plastic funky looking Kid's Corvette's.

I would like to get one that is Cool enough that we can enter in Car Shows and display along with my Black C6 Coupe. A miniature authentic looking C6.

Pedal, Electric & Gas powered are all considerations as He'll grow into it.(And the way he's growing it won't take long!)

I'd appreciate any and all links, suggestions, Pic's and so on.

Thanks,

C64Lucky

As you mention.. "he will grow into it" ... I suggest a C6Z06 full size version. You can display it at car shows quite nicely.

A little out of the budget for the little Tyke! Thinking more like Gas Powered Mini 'Vette.

I would love to get my little guy something like that too. He is the same age (2yrs) and already loves cars.

How good is that little C5? We are looking at one for my little grandson, but all the Corvette one's that we come across either have bad reviews or say that they are defective. The only ones we have found are battery powered like the Fisher Price Power Wheels Vehicles and is either from Kid Trax or Pacific Cycle. We recently found out that the Pacific Cycle one is the Kid Trax car under a different name. We have seen bad reviews on the Kid Trax model and everyone that we find from Pacific Cycle says it's defective even before you order it. Just inquiring before purchasing?

I had posted on the parts thread as I am looking for the Barbie powered Corvette for my granddaughter. Another guy on there also posted and found one. I want used though. Don't want to spend $350 for a new one.

Anyone know of a used Barbie (or any brand) battery powered corvette?

Thanks!

I went to TOYS R US today and got the latest info.

The New Corvette is PURPLE!! It has C6 headlights and C5 rims. Its basically the same as the old Red one someone mentioned but now PURPLE! Girly... So if you got a girl it will work out great.

Heres a link to the Red one... but unless your store has an old one your going to get the New Purple!!

Those aren't C6 headlights, it's modeled after the C5R racecar.

Update!!

I checked with manager of the Hoover AL Toys R Us yesterday and the only one available now is a purple C6 with the C5 thin spoke wheels. He has six of them and they will go on sale the second week in December. Yesterday they were priced $399.99.

Hope this helps!
