Default Corsa Touring Conversion

I think I will go ahead and convert the Sport system I have to a Touring. I have heard the sound clips on the Corsa website and it sounds like there is a big difference in the level of loudness the two systems make.

One website claims that its a 3-decibel difference, but listening to the sound clips it seems more then that. Either way it still sounds better then the OEM system ever did. My understanding is that the Touring system is legal where the sound limit is 95 decibels. If that is the case then I wonder how loud the Sport system is.

Just wanted some feedback on the Touring set-up. Thanks.

I have it and love it. Had the Sports on my C5 and it idled like a boat. To loud in the cab. The Touring system is quiet but loud on WOT which is just fine with me.

I have the touring and wish it was just a little bit louder than it is, but I like it any way.

Is your car a manual or an auto? Do you currently have the cat-back or axle-back system?

My Vette is an 08' MN6 and the Corsa Sport is only an axle-back.

Touring is plenty loud without being obnoxious. (At least on my 06.)

I have a set forsale. This replaces your stock H pipe perfectly. Easy bolt-on. I used this for about 3000 miles. I now have Z06 mufflers.

Bolt on kit corsa H pipe includes all necessary hardware.
For use with 6 Spd. manual transmission only.

$175.00
prefer local pickup. (Tucson)
will consider shipping, you pay the cost

I thought the sports were too close to stock, can't imagine how quiet the touring are. This is by far the quietest exhaust system I've ever had. Nice on the highway, and good sound at idle, wish there was just a little more note around town. But, its all a compromise.

It is a 3 db diff, also it helps reduce any drone.

Near stock? I don't know which stock you have but mine almost had no sound.

I have the Corsa Sports on mine and love them! Nice sound at idle, quiet at cruise and kinda loud when you hammer it.

I had the Corsa Indy on my C5 and it was similiar but sounded a lot louder to me. My son still has the C5 and I drive it now and then. The first thing I notice is that it sounds a lot louder than my C6 with the Sports.

Tourings are pretty tame until they are hooked to long tubes and highfolw cats. They sound pretty good then.
