I'm getting ready to store my car for the winter so I wanted to know if anyone has a list to follow so that the car is properly stored.
I was going to get a battery tender. What about gas treatment?
any ideas would be great.
Check Anti Freeze
Add stabilizer to gas tank then filler up. Run the car to get stablizer into the fuel lines
Change oil? Filter?
Clean and Wax
I put in moisture gathering material in the car
Hook up to a Battery Tender not a charger
Blow tires up to 40#'
Put a piece of carpet under each tire so the tires are off the cement.
Place a cover over the car and your good to go.

Except for the tire inflation step and the carpet under the tires, this is pretty much the same routine that I follow.
I do the above plus, I put a heavy duty plastic tarp on the garage floor to keep moisture away from the frame, instead of carpeting I put the car on 4 pieces of extruded sytrofoam ( pink) that I buy at home Depot.
It deforms from the weigh of the car an cradles the tires, spreading the load and eliminating flat spots.

I do pretty much the same except my cars are parked on vinyl so I don't use the carpet, and I only pump the tires up to 35psi. Neither of which is critical. The three most important things as far as I'm concerned are the Stabil, Battery Tender, and good cleaning.
