My dash in my 05 c6, one of the buttons on my ac control had a bubble on it. I wiped it with my finger and part of the surface came off. I noticed another button the same way, didn't touch that one. What could have caused this. I did use meguiars wipes on the inside dash a month ago. Have only had the car a month.

The HVAC buttons are easily replaced, if that's what you are concerned with...

Replace them and do not use anything with chemicals on your dash. Check the owners manual on cleaning.

HUH ?! My up arrow on the fan button also had the black chip off. Was shown in parts book that you have to replace this total section of the unit. Cost for this section $600 (for part only)...WOW !!
