Tail Lights - Easy question
Could one of you go look at the tail lights on your car and tell me what the number sequence is? There is a number L and R on each lense, or at least there is on my 05.
On my car the sequence is LR LR from driver side to pass side.
They don't look correct standing behind the car and looking at the patterns at night. Plus I know the rear bumper was off the car before I owned it.

I updated this to correct my mistake. It now reads correctly.

The only numbers on all 4 are 2. The two on the left have an L as the last character. The two on the right have an R. Otherwise all 4 are identical.

My 09 has ....DOT (2)A (2) I (2)S (2)T IY04 GM/VISTEON L.... On the left two lenses and the same on the right except for R. I don't have any other markings. Normally, when molded items are made in multi cavity molds, each cavity will be numbered so that the cavity can easily be identified if there is a problem with the molded parts. This may be the numbers you are seeing.
