Lets say I live on 6000 Corvette Drive. When I type the street, it narrows down my choices to [14000-14999] as a house number. Well my house number is 6000. Whats up with that? Am I doing something wrong?

ok, region is correct. Its wrong on my address though.. instead of 6407 it says 6499 or something.. On the map its correct though.
Same issue at my Parents house in NH. Some streets they just screwed up, best answer I can give you. I had the same issue when going someplace in a Lexus so it's not a GM thing.
ok thats cool. I havent actually used NAV yet. When I head on down to my friends shop I'll check it out. Thanks for the replies... very great forum you folks have here!!!
Also, sometimes you need to add an extra N, S, E or W for particular streets otherwise it might default to the other one and your address won't appear, Blvd, St, Rd, Ln and so on will also cause it to not find the numbers and lastly, the data may not be correct.

Are you in the right city? ALWAYS enter the city first to drastically reduce the number of possibilities it has to search through. I'm guessing you are on a similar named street in a different town.
