DS Vettes material differences
Just finished installing my DSVettes consoel and auto shift boot, to match my ebrake boot and handle. much to my surprise and disappointment, i noticed the material used in the console and auto shift boot dont match the ebrake handle and shift boot 
the console and auto boot have a grainy and matte finish where as the ebrake components have a smooth or very lightly grained and glossy appearance . talk about bummed, i did not think i would have to worry about pieces purchased a couple months apart not matching at all.
Thanks to Ed (pipedreams) and Peter (top Flight repro) for the help, but needless to say I am going to get in touch with Gerry for what I hope will be resolved. I am hoping for a positive customer service experience.
Any one else have this issue ? I ordered based on gushing reviews of the DSVettes items but right now, I am not a happy camper. Off to PM Gerry......

Altho I understand your concern, Radar, I don't really think OP was bashing per se. Not that your advice isn't good. I think he was surprised, asking if anyone else had this happen and wondering if it would be smooth experience to get it resolved. That's my take on it.

I can assure you we will take care of the issue. I just left you a voice message. Sometimes leather varies from lot to lot but we will make sure we have it matched
