hi all u corvette people i got a guestion i got a 2007 vert and im thinking of taking out the raido and installing a pioneer avic f 900 bt is there much to installing it or should i let a shop do it

If you're even half way competent doing stuff like that it's a relatively simple afternoon job. If just the thought of taking your own dash apart scares you, then you may want to consider professional help, but you could still do it yourself with the help of this forum.
You'll need an adapter for the steering wheel controls (peswips or similar), another one for the radio itself (GMCO or similar), and the knowledge from this thread to do it yourself. I installed an AVIC-D3 into my '07 in just a few hours, but I've done stuff like this a few times before.
