npp question

Just a point of clarification. The Z06 mufflers are not "NPP" mufflers. The NPP exhaust was introduced on the 2008 C6 coupe and convertible. While similar to the Z06 bi-mode exhaust that was introduced in 2006 the NPP uses different mufflers and has a different sound than that of the Z06.
The X Pipe is typically used to balance exhaust pressure and used to affect "burble" on deceleration. It won't really do anything for sound.

The Z06 mufflers have 3 inch over axle pipe and are not a direct bolt in to a C6. The Z06 have a different method for sound control with perforated holes in the Loud side of the mufflers, where as the NPP mufflers do not have these perforations on the Loud side and they sound a bit different because of that.
To use Z06 mufflers on a C6 you would need to have some work done to either cut the over axle pipes off of you stock C6 mufflers and weld them to the Z06 mufflers, or make an x-pipe that that adapts to the ls2 cats and the Z06 mufflers.
For those that have the NPP or Z06 mufflers already on the car and need the cnotroller setup, my All-in-1 retrofit kit starts at $160 and can start in either Loud or Quiet mode and also has the option of Zero Battery Drain remembers last setting mode available.

I have done many bi-mode retrofits on C6's and can help if you need any additional info. Just shoot me a PM or email.
