Default Salvation Army

Please join me and make a donation to our local Salvation Armys. If you follow this link you can choose to donate to services in the Kansas City area or you own home town. I have set a goal of raising $500.

Merry Christmas,

Well, y'know it's gonna be locked, moved, or otherwise destroyed. But in the spirit given, and the season, I wish you well.

Looks like a "Kansas Konspiracy" to me.\

Seriously, The Salvation Army has always been on my charity list, as it has one of the highest payout ratios and is a real help to the community.

I never pass a bell-ringer without a good donation. One of the very few charities I will still support.

I's a little disappointing that I did not collect even $1 from all the big spenders on this forum.

10 years ago I wouldn't have considered doing this sort of thing. All I thought about was myself and my famlily. Things are different for me now and I'm sure the same is true for many of you. The Salvation Army blocked? My GOD for what reason? The Salvation Army is the best charity in America. As the C6 is the best sports car in America.

Just throw a little C6 in there.

I don't see why I should contribute to your local Salvation Army unit, when I contribute to the one in my area. It is by far one of the best in the country, but by contributing a larger amount to your own, it can become a tax deductible contribution.

I'd suggest adding this to the first post by OP, but then that would make it sleazy. However, as a poster child, it's not bad. Not bad at all.....

It is not much, but I am donating a dining room set and clothes next week local Ft Worth, TX. My mom told me when she was a kid, her family had no money that The Salvation Army came to there house one Christmas and gave her and her brothers Christmas presents. I guess when it touches home it makes you realize the true wonders and work that they do for people,.
