got the lowering bolts in tonight (from corvette guys) after work and put them in. Pretty easy install if you use a few tricks, dont undo the ball joints or the sway bars etc.. it took about 2 hours and I wasnt rushing. Here is the finished height, they are all the way down and think they might settle a bit more. will post some how to photos
2morrow. the first pic is the stock bolts (icut the rea bigger one) and the aftermarket ones. regards, paul
Congratulations post up pictures when your car settles and don't forget to watch the speed bumps. Sure wish I could drop my car but my damn driveway will not allow that.
Looks nice. Keep an eye on the new bolts. Rumor has it that the bushings can wear and tear off the bolts. I would recommend a dab of grease to help prevent the tear. You can find threads regarding this if you do a search.

i could see this happening pretty easy, i cant believe they think you should grease them every month.. If they dont last i will go with a different brand maybe the ones that go in from the top. thxs for the inof, paul
Look great, don't forget to messure all four corners to make sure you are even!!
I really wish you guys would at least call them by there proper name, they are not "lowering bolts" they are WEDGE BOLTS and the car is not supposed to be even by lowering it evenly all the way around, you have taken the "wedge" out of the car! WHY do you buy a worldclass sports car and then make it ride and handle like a honda?

i dont beleive you are 100% correct here. Wedge as refering to racing is a different thing. they are changing only one corner or 2 diagonal corners at a time.
lowering equal amounts on front or rear really isnt "wedge" at all. thats just a slang term used by racers and nascar. JMO tho making it ride like a honda isnt whats happening either, we are lowering the center of gravity which in turn adds to the handling ability as well. regards,
