New to the forum, need help programing my visor remote to my genie garage opener i is a rolling code. Just purchased the vette and did not receive the owners manual.
not sure what you got there but normally you hold the outside 2 buttons to reset it until it starts blinking fast. Then you hold the button on the opener and the visor until it gets set then you learn the visor to the genie main unit. good luck

If you have any luck with this, I'd be really interested.
I've tried to get Homelink programmed but it doesn't behave as the manual says it should and I haven't been able to make it work with my Wayne Dalton opener.

this is a good site to use http://www.homelink.com/programming/programming.taf
the best solution i found was to reset it by holding the outside two buttons until it starts blinking faster then keep them held in another 30 sec's or so and they stop blinking or stay lit i cant remember. That totally resets it.
On the vettes they can be a pain (they have all sorts of fob sensors that cause frequency all over the place) so how i did mine is close the doors make sure your cell phone is inside the house ignition off and hold the homelink button down all the time and pulse the opener you are trying to program. Keep doing that unti lit sets. good paul
