Do any of you know of a method or product that can be used to polish the headlights? I have a scratch on one of them that I'd like to "remove" or at least make it less visible...
I love NOVUS products. Been using them for years, beginning in the Air Force cleaning canopies. I haven't had to polish my C6 headlights yet, but you can't go wrong with NOVUS plastic polishes.
They come in three levels:
3 - Heavy scratch remover
2 - Fine scratch remover
1 - Clean and shine

Do any of the forum vendors carry these? If not, please PM me with info. Thanks!
Be careful; less is better. Once you scratch plastic, it's hard to come back from that.
I haven't seen Novus products in the auto parts stores in a long time. Instead, for very minor scratches, I've been using Meguiar's PlastX which works ok. Novus used to be THE cleaner for convertible plastic rear windows. I suppose it still is great stuff, but today's plastics are a little different from those products.
Regular everyday toothpaste works extremely well to blend most scratches in plastics. It can also be used on clearcoat. For the deeper ones use a whitening brand which is more abrasive. Gels are far less abrasive and will require more elbow grease.
The answer is in your bathroom cabinet.
Be aware that any product that "removes" scratches, really removes the surrounding material until it matches the depth of the scratch.
