I picked up my new 2009 vette in July of this year. I was told that I would receive an updated NAV disc when they come out with the new version. The dealer now says that they don't deal with it anymore and gave me numbers to call On-star or GM. After I called them, they are saying that I would have to purchase one ($200). Anyone else believe they would receive an updated NAV disc or am I going crazy and thought I heard that.

I also purchased a 09 at the end of July and it came with the V4.0. I called the GMNAV # and they told me to contact my dealer and get a V5.0 under warranty. I did, and I'm still waiting for my V5.0.

From what I know of the NAV disc thing, Ver. 5 was in very short supply so the '09's were shipped with Ver. 4 discs. Owners of the '09 Vettes should be getting 5.0 for free but with all the problems GM is having it might be an up high battle getting those discs. Try the dealer if the NAV desk people pass the ball on this. Good luck.
