I want to try to protect my new White Vert from stone chips, I see that Pipedreams has them for sale, I have bought a number of things from Ed and am sure that his are a great product, but I would like to know what other options are out there, I like the ZO6 type which are different from what Ed has, can anyone furnish some options of others I
shoul look at?

If you do a search you will get several good products with lots of opinions about them.

Get the GM ones, they are the nicest. They look like they should have been on the car from the factory.

I've got the GM ones on my car too. They definitely look like they came originally on the car from the factory. They are smaller than any of the other guards and may not protect as well. They protect the leading edge of the fender where I care the most. I chose their looks over their absolute protection.

GM came out with some nice molded guards, I do still sell mine and they install with no tape or need to drill holes, they are 1/2 the price and offer a little more protection IMO, they are still a good option IMO

I went with Pipedreams since they seemed to offer the most protection for the lowest price. The GM ones were 2x the price and less protection, and I'm more of a function over form kinda guy. Apsis ones are nice from what I can tell, but extremely expensive.

I had the ones from Pipedreams first, and while they were not highly visible and worked ok, they looked like add-ons.

I have since installed the GM version, and they look much better.

I purchased my flaps from Pipedreams.....I am very very very happy with them. They were a snap to install and IMO look great. Also, if you have NPP exhaust I would get the Mild2Wild switch which Pipedreams also sells. Once again, a SNAP to install and well worth the money.

You'll find many opinions but if you do choose the GM ones, still do a search for the proper installation procedure.

And note that while pipedream's guards may not look so spiffy, they do the job. And he's being modest in that it provides a little more than a little more protection. That said, it isn't as if the GM GCA's don't do anything; they do. And then there's the APSIS ones and they are good, too. It's a matter of aesthetics (looks) and costs. You decide.

I've got the ones by Performance Choice.
They follow the lines of the car very nicely & have great coverage.

I put the GM ones on my 08 and they look great and are easy to install, does take drilling a couple holes in the rear inside fender skirt, just the plastic liner not a big deal, also the rear tires need to come off to make drilling the holes easier. Good luck
