I was told that the older fiberglass bodies did not handle cold weather
very well ( risk of stress cracks if driven in cold weather) and was wondering if that was true for newer bodies (C6).
We are expecting single digit temperatures here for next few days and
don't want to take it out if there is potential of damage to the body because of the temperature.

Old fiberglass composite was brittle in many respects mainly due to the type resin used (early polyester formulations). Improvements over the years (isotholic, epoxy) has made fiberglass composites much less brittle and much more rugged and flexible.
