Researching these options. 3LT has everything I need but I do like a nice interior.
Is paying the extra $3K worth it to go to upgrade to the 4LT? I can not seem to find any good examples to view on Chevy's web site.
Thank you
the 4lt is just too much
I had the 3lt in my c5
but living in NE Ohio,I realized 3lt was more than I use.so this time I got the 2lt on my c6,but I do miss the HUD once in awhile.
I have 4LT Sienna and think it looks very classy. Side by side, 4LT interior looks more finished and polished then the standard, especially on dash around the instrument surround and the doors...For a couple grand it was easily worth it to me. I ordered Fall 07 and for me it was down to CRM/4LT Linen or MS/4LT Sienna. I do like the 4LT Ebony they came out with later, but for silver/black/cyber gray cars I would be careful with the grey interior which is too monochromatic, think they need a "pop" interior color like a red or sienna (Like Stans 3LT cyber grey convert). I would like the 4LT Ebony on the "pop" exterior colors like JSB, VY, AO, Red.
yes the 4lt (3lz) is nicer than the 3lt(2lz). I won't begin to say it is not. the downside lack of high end components and lack of choices you get.
People will always defend what they have though so people with 4lt (3lz) will say it is worth people who did not spring for it will say it is a waste. I am more like I just wish the 4lt (3lz) was nicer than it is and I would have got it. It is not a waste it is just not high end enough IMO.
I will take my money and Pick better leather and the colors I want. I mean if you want high end interior I want nice leather and real carbon fiber. not so so leather and a different color fake carbon fiber.
no need to defend you package or choice to my coments. Some people like the factory options over aftermarket.
I had an 08 with 3LT coupe and now have a 2011 GS convert with 4LT. The 4LT is a steep option, but I think it's worth it. The fit and finish is great, and just having the better center console and arm rests is worth the ticket. How many of you 3LT guys have bought the fake Vette letters and stuck them on your dash? (I know I did)! The embroidery is boss, and you shouldn't have to tap on plastic on a ride like that. It's not a question of need, it's just nice to have the best looking date at the party!
I have the 4LT. I wouldn't pay $8k for it new, but I'm happy to pay about half that (if that) on the used market for 4LT.
It also matches the car really nicely on the Atomic Orange
I guess I was lucky ordering a 13 4lt ,with the deals that were out there at the time ,basically paid for a 3lt and got a 4lt with the blue stitching ,I thing it really makes the two tone pop, and with only 28 grand sports built with blue stitching a bit on the limited production. I'm still waiting for gm to respond with the breakdown of ebony verses two tone ,I went with the dark titainum...I don't agree with the cheap interior statement some of you claim. I'm almost at 14,000 miles and love the new car smell when I open the door
I have a 4LT 2012 centennial heritage edition. Awesome interior. People are always surprised how nice interior looks. But only 400 or so grand sport centennial editions out there.

I have heard all the reasons why not to spend the $3K for the 4LT but there will be the day when you will think to yourself, why didn't I get it. You will not regret it, knowing you got the best !!, yes I have the 4LT.
