How and where do you carry the fob when you're in the vicinity of the car? Some here talked about their pants pocket where they were carrying the fob being too tight.

I'm not sure what this means, unless you're just saying the fob seems to act normally for entering and driving the car.
The same thing happened to me a couple of times. I just thought that maybe the fob button got pushed while in my pocket. That was about a month a go. It hasn't happened again.
Correct, you are hitting the button without knowing it. It happens to the Corvette as well as a Mercedes-Benz we have. Just part of the deal with remotes.
Yep, the fob buttons are easy to push when in your pants pocket. I've set off the alarm a couple of times and opened the hatch once. Get one of those fob covers to correct the problem.

Yup. The same thing has happened to me quite a few times. Just last week it happened as I was exiting the car (with the fob in my pocket).
agree that likely cause is inadvertent hitting of the buttom on your fob. you may also want to check the latch and ensure it is really closing when you lower the hatch. if not, you may need to adjust the height stops on either side of the hatch to align the hatch with the rear body panels. I had to do this to get the hatch to automatically close after I had lowered it.

I reported this problem myself as well. Its happened to me a couple of times in a closed garage with a metal door. I would come out the next morning and find the trunk popped. No way the signal from the fob would get through. An GM Engineer was monitoring this site emailed me asking for additional information which I provided. It hasn't happened in a long time till today. I just got on the freeway this morning and all of a sudden, the trunk popped up again, while just getting up to 65mph.
it happened again today...there is somthing wrong with my fob when i get near the car the trunk pop without touching the fob..iv even changed the battery of the fob it worked a couple days and the problem returned...so anyone..please..HELP ME!!
Sounds like there is a short in the fob that's causing the hatch button to be activated all the time. Maybe some water leaked into it at some point. Does this only happen with one of the fobs and not the other?

Does the same thing happen with the other FOB? If you haven't already, I suggest you try just using the other FOB for awhile and see if it happens. If it doesn't, it may be the FOB.
i think the water leaked into it cause a couple of weeks it rained a little and my hoddy got wet and the fob was in it...but i didnt thought that it will affect it....so u think i need to replace the damged fob with a new one?or i can fix it?
