TPMS (Matching)
(maybe brought up prior to this)
Purchased a Buick Enclave a few months ago and rotated the tires last week. They have DIY technique for rematching the TPMS.......very straight forward but with limited time to complete process. Have they added it to the 09 Vettes? IF not toooo bad.
Basically calls for
- switch on...press both the lock and unlock button....get DIC message
- start at left front tire and either add or remove pressure until the the horn honks
- do the others in prescribed sequence within 2 min.....get double beep confirmation and you are done

2009's have the same sensors as all previous C6's and you need a tool that transmits the proper radio frequency to trigger them.

GM had to go with an easily-trained TPM system or have hordes of angry owners swarming the gates. You can get away with needing a special tool for a special car (C6), but Joe Sixpack won't take that kind of nonsense.
