Here are cobalt red bezels with a Satin backing plate.

Wow, those look great Josh! Any chance of ever having the backing plate in a 08 carbon fiber pattern? That would be insane.

Hi Josh,
I went on your RPI site looking for the install instructions for the colored bezels. You don't provide the instructions unless you purchased the item. This is normal I realize; however, I have had some difficulty in the past with plastic connections breaking off during install on similar items with different cars and then you have a much larger problem correcting the original stock cover that you just broke. Is there anyway to get a discription on the install to ensure that people like me, (that are not mechanics and tend to learn as you go the hard way after breaking stock peices of material), to ensure that I can actully do the bezel install myself????
Thanks Josh, the bezels are awesome, it is the install procedure that I am leary of.

The photos will explain everything much better. I can do the install in under 30
minutes. Your first time will range from 30-60 minutes.
1. You need to remove the pod surround unit. There are 2 places you need
to pry to release this from the dash. One pry place is under the ignition
switch, the other is under the far left dash vent.
2. Now the unit will move foward, remove the three screws that are holding the pod.
3. Unplug the ignition switch. You will need to press in the 2 tabs holding the switch. Remove the dimmer control the same way.
4.Remove the gauge cluster from the pod. There are 4 screws holding this in place. Once you remove the screws the unit will come out of the dash.
5. Unplug the 2 wires that are connected to the gauge cluster.
6. Remove the clear lens from the gauge cluster. To do this you'll need to release all 10 tabs.
7. Install your new gauge bezels/backing plate. There is 3M tape on the back
of each piece. Clean with alcohol and simply peel and stick into place.

Yes, very easy. They'll pull right off (with some work to release the 3M tape). Just make sure to keep your old bezels if you decide to swtich back...But why would you do that?

Thanks for getting back to me so quick, but the gauages I was refering to are the ones from US Speedo where the dials are yellow, sorry I wasn't more clear.
Anyway, I have my cluster out now and it would be a perfect time to do it, so if it looks good to me, its a go
Let me know thanks,

No problem. We don't have the US Speedo pieces here, so I cannot get that pic for you. But if you buy the backing plate from us, sit it in place (without removing the tape) you can send it back to us, no restocking fee if you don't like the look. We'd just ask you to snap a picture for us if possible.
I bet it would look great, but we don't have the US Speedo pieces here.
Thanks!

Just ordered my yellow gauge bezels. Can't wait to get them. Thanks again for a great, innovative product, Josh.
