Owner Loyalty Program coming for Corvette

Beginning tomorrow Jan. 6th through Feb 2nd, there will be an owner loyalty program for 2008 & 2009 Corvette. You will receive $1,000 if you own or lease a 1999 or newer GM vehicle. This vehicle does not have to be traded. Also, there is $2,000 in Customer Cash on 2008's.

Also, if you have a GM Card, there will be a "GM Card Top off Program". If you have 50-1500 GM Card points you can redeem $2,000. If you have 1501-2500 points, you can redeem $3,000.

All programs expire Feb. 2nd. The APR program that came out last week is gone. NO LOW APR FOR CORVETTE!

No - it means as he stated. If YOU own or lease a 1999 or newer GM product you get an extra $1000 off 2008 or 2009 Vette. GM has done multiple owner loyalty plans in the past - in Fall 2004 I used a $5000 one on an Escalade purchase.

Just $1000? I don't think it will help Corvette sales. I guess it better than nothing.

Sounds good on paper, but I can see dealer's low ballin' you that same grand on your trade-in.

You will always have those typical dealers who do that kind of stuff. Rick and I always work "best price" and "actual cash value". The loyalty money is what YOU earned, not the dealer.

I had stated that APR was gone for 2008 Corvettes. I just found out that GMAC is offering 5.9% for 60 months on 2008's.

Wow, 370 points shy of the 1501. I've had 4000 points redeemed 'lifetime' so far.

Can I do 1100 from one GM card and 401 from another to get the full 3000?

Greg, I think I'll have to pick the car up from BG before Feb 2nd to save the money!

Just added, there is $2,000 in Customer Cash on 2008's starting tomorrow along with the $1,000 loyalty money.

got my customer loyalty notice in the mail today, the ZR1 is not included in the special offer, damn, and i was going to pay cash......

If I could would ya....wait now I sound like a car salesman. ZR1 and CTS-V are excluded. BTW...as of today, only 29 ZR1's left on the ground, down from 35 Saturday.

Very confusing. The card I received in the mail states "Up to $3000 owner loyalty cash" on most 08 and 08 GM vehicles (except ZR1 and CTS-V). Nothing about $2000 consumer rebate. So the question is, where is there a straight forward listing of the various offers GM is offering?
