The Omega low profile floor jack is a good floor jack for the Corvette that won't break the bank.
I bought mine from Northern Tool.

I bought the Torin 1.5 Ton Aluminum jack from Costco, $114.00 shipping and tax included. I did a write-up on the modification to make it accept a Cross Beam Adapter. The Omega is a good jack, I only intend to use mine to take the wheels off to clean the wheels and touch up the painted calipers.

Northern Tool has the Torin 3 ton on sale for $69.99 right now....don't know how much shipping would be, but that seems like a pretty good price for that jack......anyone know how good Torin is?

Torin makes a good moderately priced jack.

Although some people dont like using them, I've had my racing jack from Harbor Freight for over 4 years and have been very happy.

I've been using a harbor freight jack as well. I was surprised it fit under the proper jacking location. I take the jacking cup off the base and it works great. I had it left over from my last hobby. It is more expensive than the racing jack but just posting my luck with the harbor freight stuff.

I have the Omega. It's very low and very long...nice for getting under the front of the car and reaching the preferred jacking points. I modified mine to take the Northern Tool crossbeam. With the crossbeam on it is easiest to pull the front wheels up on 2" lumber and the jack with crossbeam attached slides right into place.

I use one of the Costco jacks for the rear. It doesn't need to be as long. I also modified it for a crossbeam. Again, it's easiest to get into the correct position when the tires are on 2" lumber.

I've found that the suspension will actually be a little higher or lower at times (maybe my F55 shocks?). At any rate, by putting 2" lumber in front of all 4 tires and running it up on that first both jacks with crossbeams will always slide right in.

Once I get it up I put it on jack stands. I welded 'U' channel pockets on the botom ends of the crossbeams to rest on top of the jack stands so there's no risk of the car going anywhere while I'm under it.

I was using two of the Costco jacks in the following photo but later switched to the Omega in the front....

This is what I use along with the Northern Tool cross members (although they had to be ground slightly to fit the Omega receiver)... have had good success with this setup over the last year.
