Glove box door latch
I don't know how technical of a question this is but here goes!
I opened my glove box to retrieve the owners manual and I closed it not knowing how long I was going to have the manual out!
The door closed but the latch seem to be half open, but it was hung up, so I pulled to try to open it. The latch handle snapped like a week old dry chicken bone.
By now you might have guessed that I no longer have a latch handle nor will the door open.
Does anybody have any Idea how the door assembly is held in place? It does not seem to have any exposed phillips screws or anything to indicate what holds this marvelous piece of engineering in place.
Thanks

See the little tab of metal that sticks out where your latch used to be? Pinch it between thumb and forefinger and pull the upper part of it out and you can open the glovebox. It takes a good squeeze, so use needlenose pliers if necessary. I got good at it while I waited 2 weeks for the replacement part (warranty, no problem). Common problem late 07- early 08 manufacture dates.
