Window problem....
Brought over from the tech forum.
I have read the other threads pertaining to window problems and have referred to the service manuals as well.
Drivers window is down and will not go up. I have tried 2 different windows regulators and they both do the same thing. Figured the odds were long to have 2 bad regulators.
The passenger window works perfectly. The drivers when I push the button you can hear the regulator click. When you pull the button there is a click and about a second and a half of a buzz sound and the window acts like it tries to come up but doesn't move. I don't have access to the tech 2 yet so I have not been about to bypass the switch to rule that in or out.
Sounds like more of a mechanical problem rather than electrical. Like the window is jammed. Perhaps some foreign matter in the track? The clicking sound could be the breaker tripping when the motor overloads. Maybe try pushing up on the window with both hands and wiggle it while having someone else work the switch...

I had this happen on my car once when it was in the body shop and the door wiring harness was disconnected and then the battery disconnected.
The window rolled down and wouldnt roll up.
The fix was to use Tech 2 scanner and run the window up and down and relearn its position.
I doubt that either of your window regulators were bad. The body shop owner didnt even flinch when it happened on my car and said he has had many C6's do that.
Up and down with the Tech 2 and it was all good again.

After all that I have tried I think I am down to the Tech 2. I have one ordered but will have to hit up my local Vette Mechanic to use his. I am going to look at the tracks again just to be sure to exhaust all the options I can.
I thought it was strange that 2 different regulators would do the exact same thing. I may have something screwy in the switch as well. I think I may jumper the switch just to see.
