The code that has worked for me repeatedly is "please cancel my subscription". But, be willing to actually do it. My car is not a DD so I'm truly willing to let it go if they insist. So far they've always decided they'd prefere some business to none. My wife has started listening to XM some at home, so my attitude could change.

I called and told them that if I couldn't get the 77/yr that they could cancel it. They sent me to cancellation department and the lady said that the $77 was just a promotion and that I had already gotten it for two years and they wouldn't do it again. I told them to cancel, which she said they would do.
Yesterday I got a notice from them for $33.75 for three months. I'll call again tomorrow to see what can be done. But if I don't get the $77 I'll remind them that I've already cancelled.

I renewed XM last night for $77 a year. No code was used. This is the third year I've received the $77 rate. I calmly explained to the first rep that if I didn't receive the same rate as previous years I was going to cancel. I got transferred to the "cancellation" department, told them the same, and within a minute had the $77 rate. I was told this would be the last time (same thing I was told last year). Just be ready to cancel if you don't get the low rate.
