Installers will use Ventureshield because it is a thinner tape and easier to use. 3M and Avery use a thicker tape. The Avery has a bit of an orange peeled appearance. IMO I would use 3M or Avery. Make sure the installer is using a precut pattern. This will eliminate a lot of cutting. Get a contour cut on the hood to hide the line, and wait until it is warm out to get the job done. After the car is taped its a good idea to let it bake in the sun/heat. That will stretch it out and give you a chance to see the final tape job after it has completely dried. Good luck to you
