HELP!!! NPP exhaust: I just bought some Z06 NPP Mufflers for my 2005 C6 and the Z06s over the axle pipes are 3" and my factory H-pipe is 2.5" ... can anyone tell me the best way to convert them to fit.
Any muffler shop should be able to either reduce the 3" to tightly slip over the stock pipes....or enlarge the smaller ones to fit tightly inside the bigger ones.....They'll still need welding of course.........

As it has been pointed out..several times... that is why the ZO6 NPP catback sells for $400-$500 and the standard NPP goes for $1000...
That, and the fact that they sound different. The Z06 mufflers actually reduce to 2.5" right at the muffler. So you can cut the three inch pipes of there and weld, or just use a 3" x 2.5" reducer. Best bet is just to take it to a muffler shop and let them deal with it. Probably won't charge you much for the complete install.
