Would you move south just so you could drive your vette all year round?? I have a few more years left to work, but have been thinking about it a lot lately.

Don't even hesitate!!!! I'm in Charleston, SC. Moved from Maine and will NEVER regret it. Driving the Vette year round is only a side benefit.

No, while it's nice driving it all the time mine is not a DD and I don't mind giving it a winter rest. In NJ we do have some times in the winter when the roads are clear and we can drive but so far this winter it hasn't happened. March is right around the corner!

For that reason only, no. Driving the Vette year round would be nice but I would not move South for that one reason only. Many other factors involved, it is a big decision and each person and family has to mull through all the factors before making such a move. The Vette driving is on the list but for many not at the top.

We can drive our cars about 50 weeks a year here in Oklahoma. It just so happens this week is one of the two weeks we can't drive them due to the Ice and snow. Living Florida would be nice!

Yes, I would in a New York Minute. Plan on moving to South Texas or the Hill Country when I retire.

Born and raised in the south, but I have lived up North and out of the country during my younger adult life. Hell yes!!!! I don't know how you guys do it (live up north). The cold wheather, fast pace, rude people (in some cases) and the value of a dollar! Living around Myrtle Beach, I know a large part of our citizens are originally from up north. So from what I have learned, they moved down south for a pretty good reason!! Life is better when the sun is shinning!!

It's 26 degrees here in Dallas right now, ice storm last night has the city locked up. Me, I'm staying home off the streets.

Born and raised in PA, although did spend 7 years in central NY as a kid. I can't imagine living up there anymore, winters are too long and harsh. Where I am still sucks and I've already told my wife, day we retire, we're outta this state and going to where its warm. Older I get, the more I hate the cold (and I'm only 46). If I never see snow again, I couldn't be happier!

Oh, and I do drive my C6 year round, but there are days like today that its in the garage.

Nope! Live in NJ and the Vette is driven all year long except when there is fresh snow on the road. Once they are clear it's out.

Moved to NC over 25 years ago from the Pittsburgh area (Still a Steelers fan though). Never looked back. I actually use my C6 more in the winter months than summer. Spend most of the summer on the motorcycle. Recovering from surgery right now so neither one is being used at this time.

Absolutely not! As much as I love driving a Vette I treasure the summers in Alaska as the best in the world.
Doesnt matter where you live you either have good and bad seasons to some extent or the cost of living is to expensive.
