2008 Coupe Group
Okay now lets give the Z51 owners a run for their money.Let them know all they paid for that makes any difference other then cosmetics are the oil cooler,stiffer springs ( which we can change easily) slightly bigger tires,sway bars.... Oh, they paid for the emblem that either comes with or not with the package.
I think we would out grow them.....Join the in and sound off.

I sometimes wonder if I should have purchase my vette with the stiffer suspension. But I didn't, I'm just happy to be a CORVETTE owner with 436hp and great handling. To me the only true "Z"s out there are the Z06 and the ZR1 the rest are just regular corvettes with stiffer suspensions. Hey, I have "Z" rated tires that should get me some type of badge! How about "Z-RatedTires"

my first two C6's were non Z51's.. (2006 1LT M6 VR, 2007 2LT M6 MS) ... dont get me wrong ,, i loved them, they were awesome sports cars,,, but i just like my Z51 SOOO much better (2008 Z51 NPP 3LT M6 AW) 
I would never go back to a non Z51 C6. The handling capabilities of the car are improved amazingly with the Z51 package, not to mention its the only true performance option out there besides NPP. When i had my regualr C6's i would always look in the parts section and fleabay for Z51 parts to upgrade my base cars with.

You forgot gear ratios, the letter "Z" means total performance.

Can't we all just get along.............of course, a great driver in a base car will still beat an average one in a Z51 in any HPDE.....now THAT should help us all unite, right?
