Disconecting battery!!!
I live in Brazil and i hev an c6.. i want to install an dvd and i will need to disconect the battery to do it... If i do it i will have to reprogram something in the car after reconect the battery???
i'm asking it because here in brazil we don't have chevy dealers with corvette computer ... thanks

you may have to re index your windows . . .that should be about it. . .
purt the window all the way up . . .then lift up on the button for 5 seconds . . . it's also covered in your owners manual . .

I don't know whether the preceding post will work for resetting the window indexing, but I know the info. I have below will do it.
Close the car door. Raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done.
This is called resetting of the window indexing or power window initialize and is in the owner's manual. See page 2-17 of the 2005 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2006 owner’s manual, page 87 of the 2007 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2008 owner’s manual, or page 2-18 of the 2009 owner's manual.

Just hold the window up button with the door closed until you hear a click then release and do it a second time. The clock will also lose the time but every other setting should remain.

But would i need to reprogram something about the engine or something like that?? lamps? doors?? i'm asking that because i had an audi and every time when the battery was disconect or getdown i always had to go to dealer to reprogram all the car .. if not the car did not has powe like the engine was programmed wrong...
