I got a bra from a buddy, it was new in the box but he didnt have the instructions or the snaps for the fender wells. Ive searched the forum over and the net, didnt find much help. I was wondering if anyone had some instructions. Also, how can I go about getting snaps for the fenders.
First installation it is recommended that the cover is warm to help stretch it for a tight fit.
1. Attach the clips on the top to the edge of the sheet metal in the engine bay with the hood up. Insert tabs between faccia and seal around headlamp. CAUTION: Do not allow the seal to be pressed into the gap. A thin plastic shim may be used to position the seal aside prior to inserting the tab.
2. Fasten to wheel well. (SNAPS) I do not know where you can get the plugs and snaps.
3. Attach the tabs and plastic clips in the grill. (Some can be a pain, just keep working it)
4. Wrap cover around the vehicle and attach "S" hooks to the elastic loops underneath the vehicle.
Took me about a 1/2 to do first install. 15 minutes the second time.
Note when taking it off to check that the grill is in place. I tend to pop a few of the tabs out. I also use painter tape underneath the car where the "S" hooks touch the paint.
Edit: Just noticed I have part # 88968131 Corvette front end cover no plate. Not sure if they are the same.
