Is there a way to get a route to a town without using a street address?

There should also be a manner to put in lat. and lon. values to route to as all systems I have developed for GM have that as a requirement. If where you are going has a major airport you can also use select the airport by its three letter designator. You also can choose where two streets intersect in a town as a guidance point.

I'm sure there is, but I haven't found a way around putting a street name in. On the few occasions when I just wanted to go to a town, I entered Main street. Every town has a "Main street" I think?

You can just use 'City'. You can also enter an intersection or a Freeway entry/exit.

You can select a destination by:
- Street address;
- Coordinates (Lat/Lon);
- Select from map;
- Memory Point;
- Point Of Interest;
- Emergency: Select nearest Police Station, Hospital or Dealer;
- Previous Destination;
- Intersection;
- Freeway Entrance/Exit;
- Phone Number (from numbers in POI Database).
