Dont feel bad, I have an '08 and I need a new headlight too. Drivers side low beam is out. Yes it is covered under warranty, but after bringing it in to service and sitting for 4 hrs to change out the bulb, it was determined it was not the light bulb, but the head light assembly. Whatever that means. Had one shipped in that was damaged and now I am still waiting. Also, they said to be prepared to leave the car with them next time, because they will have to pull off the front fender
