help on ls2/ls3 differences

The primary difference between the two motors is the LS3 has 12 more cubic inches of displacement and L92 heads which flow better than the LS6 heads on the LS2. If you are only going to do bolt ons then opt for the LS3 as mod for mod they will always make an extra 30 hp due to the heads. The cubic inch difference is nominal and at best would account for 5-10 hp. If you are going to do heads and cam, either would be a great choice and make similar hp in full out H/C set ups.

H/C set ups in both LS2s and LS3s will fairly easily put out more than 460 whp, with several over the 500 mark. That's on stock displacement and bottom end
