If you find time look at the plan itself.....It doesn't say anywhere the Vette is to be discontinued. Let me know if you find anything factual that says the Vette is out. I might have missed it in the 3 zillion pages.
I don't know about anyone else, but it seems a bit surreal to me to see this sort of document submitted to the U.S. Treasury. Not my idea of a highpoint in U.S. history.
I hope we can look back on this someday and say we did the right things.

I am a part of the automotive community based in Detroit. In my 21 years of being in this industry, this is by far the worst I have ever seen. I've seen layoffs and terminations almost every week in the general community. I wish a healthy and well thought out recovery for GM. What was once a worldwide behemoth is now barely standing on crutches. Here's to a healthy recovery and a rebounding economy.

Lots of interesting though dry reading here. GM will emphasize "green" jobs reducing greenhouse gases doesn't sound good for the Corvette. The media's obsession with suppliers going bankrupt if GM files is refuted in part by pointing out that weaker suppliers might drop out but that strengthens the competitors that remain.
They do mention the camaro though.... I guess since the corvette only has one motor and two transmission options instead of all that the camaro is going to have
