My advise to you is, wait for "your" car to show up. I wasted a lot of money getting an A6 but wanted a MN6, I now have what I should have purchased in the first place.
If you really want an MN6, than that is what you should get. Don't get something that you might not be happy with and want to sell to get what you want. Do it right the first time.
Get what you want. I got rid of the manual as traffic here in Chicago is a real pain. The A6 is faster and all around better. But, if you want a manual make sure you get what you want.
Also, it is harder to find a manual as 70% of Vettes are sold with the A6.

I made the change from a C5Z06 to a C6 with an A6. I have to say there are certain things I miss about the stick and some things I don't. For example, traffic in a stick kinda sucks. Then again, having an A6 (with paddles) ain't all that bad on the open road either. Of course I can always drive the Z (gave it to my wife) if I feel the need to slam through the gears...
Bottom line is do I regret not getting a MN6 in my C6?
I just found a local guy with a 05 C6, 13k miles on it, Z51 package.
How well are these clutches holding up?
I plan for a Maggie, so it'll be lighting the tires up a lot, but maybe that's better for the clutch to have the tire spin rather than a hook? I've pulled the trans and clutch in my FBody countless times, but I'm guessing these C6's are going to be a PITA!
damn, perfect car....and price....except for the auto
I have had manual trans for my last 6 or 7 cars and for the last 20+ years.........and for right now, I am loving my A6. It all depends on what you want to do with your car.........right now, I am into just cruising and enjoying the rest of the car. If you are a driver's driver, by all means get the M6.........
Wait for the exact car that you want. Every time that you look at the car you don't need regrets. There are allot of really nice cars out there right now. My buddy looked for months for a certain MN-6 car. He was at the dealers one day and drove an A-6 just to drive one. He quickly changed his mind about the A-6 in about 30 minutes. Now he has an '09 A-6 vert and couldn't be happier. Drive 'em both and decide what is best for you.!
If you're going to pull the trigger, make sure you hit the target! Get what you want, spend a little more if you have to, otherwise you always have buyers remorse. I'd prefer a MN6, but the traffic 'round here prohibits that. Now that I drive the A6 everyday, I kind of like it. The A6 isn't all that bad. GL, and do it right the first time.
