Default Windblocker

Hi, everyone. I'm new to the forum, and a new Corvette convertible owner. Does anyone know of a windblocker that I can leave in place and still be able to raise and lower the power top? With the GM windblocker one has to manually take it out and put it back in when raising or lowering the top.

Many thanks

Amy

to my knowledge, I know of 2 one being the GM, and neither can be left in place. the other one does have a lower profile but still needs to be removed.

Oh, btw, Welcome~!

It doesn't exist. Both need to be removed before the top goes up.
Give the car a try without it. I don't think you really need it.

I agree with the above. There is a little wind blowing around, but some of that can be negated by rolling up windows about 3" or so. Experiment, try it out.

You can always buy the windblockers later if this doesn't work.

On the other hand, it takes me about 30 seconds to remove the windscreen and put it in the trunk.

That is exactly why I don't have one. I have a power top so I really didn't want to have to get out to manually remove/install the wind block(I would probably never use it)

Try it with out. I have never had a wind problem but the reason I put the top down is for the wind in the (whats left of it) hair.

I have read that it doesn't make alot of difference and the folks that say it does, roll their windows up to. If I put the top down I am definitely not rolling the windows up.

All the blockers that I know of must be removed to put up the top. I have the GM model and it works great. Removal and installation do not take more than a minute, but you can't do it at a stoplight and stay in your car ( unless you have a really strong right arm)

Welcome Amy.

I agree with the others, I haven't seen one that can be left in place. When I first got the C6 4 years ago I thought the windscreen looked sort of The fact that the windscreen had to be removed, before putting up the top, was a major deterrent.
