Ferrari Build

The other transmission will shift automatically or with the paddles, but it appears to have a clutch for starting and stopping. I guess it's an auto manual.

I just watched the National Geo channel showing building a Ferrari 5xx. I'll give them credit the factory is awesome.
Odd they don't offer a manual transmission, but more intresting each one is tested on the Ferrari test track to assure performance. Translated they drive the hell out of a brand new car with no break in period.
Frankly I wouldn't want a test jockey running my new car of any make like that. I have never had any boat, car, motorcycle that didn't have some break in period. Ferrari seems willing to operate at maximum rprm throughout the testing. Can this be good?
It did have some awesome badges though. That little horsey looks pretty racy. I guess there sort of like those Z 51 badges I keep hearing about on the forum.
I bet it really sucks to pay that kind of money for a Ferrari and have a ZR1 at 1/3 the price match it in performance, but then it does have those horsey badges.

I promise you the gentleman in the F599 could not possibly care less about being outperformed by a ZR-1.......and if he does care,it's a good assumption if he can afford a F599 he can also stroke a check for a ZR-1 as a stablemate.
