Default ReJeX...does it work?

Looking for a good protectant for the front of the vette. Something to make bug cleanup easy. Anyone have experience with RejeX?

I use it and love it! Last a LONG time. I also heard of another product that's pretty popular; Zino, or Zano, or Zaino, something like that...

I use it and think it's a good product. Very easy to apply and it won't stain the black trim if you accidentally get it there. Bugs slide right off.

Zaino is better. I tested Rejex... Rejex is not something I would put and use on my personal toy, of course, I'm very **** about my finish, the whole car in fact.. Rejex will do the job, but the optical clarity and total protection is not there, in my opinion..its a "use it on everthing" protectant.. but zaino is made exclusely for folks who want their cars to look the best, and its easy to use, and the results reward the user everytime he drives the car. Bugs dont stick, tar does not stick, tree sap wipes off, bird poop wipes off, does not pentrate..the more coats, the more protection, there is no solvent, so it layers.

I know there are a lot of Rejex users here, dont be offended please by this post, its just my opinion, and ive been detailing since 1967....... been through just about every prodcut on the shelf, until 1998, when i discovered the benneis of Zaino..

use what makes you happy is the bottom line...

I prefer Zaino on the paint, but use Rejex on the chrome wheels. It makes it much easier to wash/wipe the brake dust off!

I use it on the inner barrels of my rims (Wheel Wax on the outers) and on the frontal impact areas of the car during bug season. The rest of the time regular wax gets used for the reason that Wolfdogs gave. Rejex works very well in the "ease of cleanup" category but for the ultimate finish, real car waxes are better.

Both Zaino and Rejex work great. In my opinion, Rejex doesn't have the shine that Zaino does, but it does last a little longer. After I Zaino the car, I then Rejex the leading edges for easy bug clean up. Also works great on keeping brake dust off your wheels. The draw back for Rejex is you cannot drive for 24 hrs after applying to let it stabilize.

Rejex works great for me. Of course, the more you wipe the bugs off, the sooner you'll need another coat....just like any other product.
I think the application is a little easier, and the car stays so slick to the feel that its hard not to run your hand down the car. I've had kids at a car show run their fingers all the way down the side while saying "I like this one". While I'm not a fan of finger prints, I just had to smile. (then use the microfiber again).
Good product.

Tend to Agree with Wolfdogs... But if your not into spending 1/2 your life detailing... Rejex or NXT 2.0 will work well. They use advanced polymer protection which will allow you to get a shiny surface and take bugs and dirt off easily.

I've tried Rejex and now use NXT/2. The rejex left a slicker finish but I like NXT/2 better. I top off the sealer with Mothers Top Coat so the slick finish doesn't matter. I've never tried Zaino but may someday.

I use both a lot. My Vette is silver, and my G8 is white, so to me, any visual differences between Rejex and Zaino are nearly impossible to detect. If you parked two identical Vettes side by side, both prepped/polished the same way, one finished with Zaino and the other with Rejex, I highly doubt you'd be able to say with certaintly which was which. Now on black, any differences may be easier to detect.

Along the same lines, park one with Zaino and another with NXT2.0 and I would bet you couldn't tell a difference either.

So for me, I go with what's easier to use and what I feel like at the time. I use Rejex, Zaino, Blackfire, NXT, C-Magic, and Surf City stuff for the most part.

Me too. I used Rejex for awhile on the finish, but went to Zaino. JMO

And I used the Zaino Glass Polish today for the 1st time. I was skeptical, but It works great!

It works well for me. I use it on the paint, wheels, clear bra, windows and clear top. I try not to get it on the black parts but, as someone else said, when you do it does not leave a white haze.

I haven't tried Zaino or others so can't compare.

Before putting anything on I recommend using a claybar...it makes a large difference.
