Default Winter weather

Here in Southern Alberta we woke up to 8 inches of fresh snow Sunday morning and minus 25C Monday Morning. It seems this winter will not let up. I was originally shooting for April 19th to get the vette out as this is when I figured the city would have all the roads cleaned up. When around the states do you think you will be able to get your vette out?

70 degrees here on Saturday, roads clear, snow is gone, vette is loose

I am now stocked up on Dairy Products due to my three Milk trips! Any excuse to go cruise, the wife starting rolling her eyes after my second 1 hour trip to the Grocery 3 miles down the street. I had a Cobra giving me some lip, but boy were the police out in force, I just let it ride. They certainly know that nice weather makes people act up and are looking for it. Plus, I can't get away with crap with my exhaust

I picked up the cover this weekend because it was 70 degrees outside but the roads are still white with salt so I guess another couple of rain storms to clean the streets and I should be out by 04/01 enjoying the springtime.

Already out many times a week, but the "last-frost-date" is usually April 15 in St. Louis. That's the safe date when the temp will never again go to freezing at any point (day or night) until next winter.

We woke up to another 7" or so of snow this moring but not the subzero temperature you are experiencing. As to when I'll get the Vette out, I'm thinking later today when the heavy slush melts off the streets. We drive the C6 all winter. When we bought it I figured I had too many "garage queens" already and didn't need another one so this one gets driven whenever possible.

If you weren't supposed to drive them in the winter there wouldn't be heated seats in them.

I drive my C5 year round here in Toronto, but even the guys that have been storing their cars for the winter have been bringing them out a lot here lately. We've had no major snowstorms in about 2-3 weeks now and it even got up to 65F on Friday here. It's nice to see an early start to the Corvette season here, it gets awfully lonely for me in the winter with nobody to wave to on the roads!

I was able to drive my car January 3rd, February 22 and Febuary 28th. Then we had that late winter storm last Monday and they over salted the roads so I didn't use the car this past weekend. It rained last night, should be able to drive next weekend, here in south central Pennsylvania.

Only a few days here in Chicago. We have had one of the coldest and longest winters since records have been kept. It will be a balmy 13 ° here on Wednesday.

Hope to get her back out again at the end of the week.
So much for the global warming

About 65 Friday, and a friggin delouge of rain and hail yesterday. Illinois weather sucks period. Gotta get out of here soon. Unless they can put me in a time capsule, it's ridiculous living here. I had to vent, cabin fever set in long ago. You really have about a 6th month window here to enjoy yourself.

Thanks for all the post nice to know i'm not the only one getting cabin fever. Hard to feel sorry for the Americans that are snowed in as there are many places they could live that have great weather year around, we in Canada are stuck with it.
