Space Shuttle Launch **PICTURES**

The feeling of patriotism that comes over me when I see these launches reminds me of why we are the best country on the planet. It also reminds me of all the brave men & women who gave their lives and those who serve today the make this country what it is....

I wish everyone could experience this first hand...it is a good reminder that although we can disagree politically we are all in this together as Americans and should be proud to be living in this great country.

If you look close you can see the two small dots..thats the SRB's seperating

I wish them a safe return..

My wife and I were fortunate to witness a nighttime launch from the VIP area. It was a thrill of a lifetime. God Speed Current Mission.

Thanks for the pictures and the sentiment. I agree with you completely. I've only seen one shuttle launch in person and it is simply awe inspiring. Godspeed to the crew and my prayers for a successful mission and a safe return.

I forgot there was a shuttle launching... thought we were having an earthquake or something and took a look out the window and saw it here in Melbourne.
