Default Corvette Mods SMD LED Liight Kit - Problems!

No intent here in bashing the vendor, just want to point out the problems I had with the Complete SMD LED kit I purchased from Corvette Mods.

I sent them an email at 5:41am this morning and have not heard back. There is no phone number listed on their website, so don't ask why I did not just call them.

The complete kit includes (11) push-in style bulbs and (2) bulbs for the rear cargo area.

The push-in bulbs fit fine for all the interior lights and also the rear license plate lights. The light does look really good.

The push-in bulbs DO NOT fit the side marker lenses as the bulbs themselves are too long and hit the inside of the lense preventing you from twisting the plug back into place.

The stock rear cargo area bulbs use a hook on each end to hold them in place. What was provided by Corvette Mods is just a "bullet nose" type bulb that their instructions say to bend the bracket, grind the end of the bullet flat and GLUE in place! This is not mentioned anywhere on their website and I find it to be a bit rediculous to tell someone to "glue" a lightbulb in place.

I now have to spend more money to purchase bulbs for the side markers and rear cargo area that another vendor assures me will fit fine. That vendor has a post on here today.

GLUE a light bulb in place? That's ludicrous.......good luck with getting some adjustment from the vendor you bought these from....sounds like a good warning to us all on this kit!!!
If they do follow through and make it right, please let us know...

I'll leave this open until we hear from the vendor, but be warned. If you have nothing to add to this post then move on. It doesn't need to be cluttered with useless information. Any such posts WILL be removed.

I would just go back to the OEM bulbs. They fit, they function and they are the correct bulbs for your car.

As I said, any further discussion should be via email/phone/PM.

I hope you two can come to a resolution.
