Removing glue from sunvisor
Any tips out there? I want to peel off my airbag stickers but don't want the residue to remain on the sunvisor.
Maybe goo-b-gone????

Goo Gone worked for some. Start by heating the decal with a hair dryer on high. Peel it off the best you can. Then use a stiff brush & Goo Gone.
However, Goo Gone wouldn't work for me in my previous vette. I had to buy a spray bottle of generic adhesive remover.
In my current vette, I just bought some decals to paste over the whole label. They're available from several forum vendors.

Do it in warm weather or a heated garage. Use a hair dryer to warm and peel the labels.
I used Goof-Off and a stiff, new toothbrush. It seemed to wash the residue into the inside of the visor. Dried with the hair dryer but still had a very faint outline.
My car is a Vert and was a year old before this was done, so some fading of the visor may have occurred.
After about 3 months, any trace had disappeared.

Don't fall for it, it's a trap. I read all those threads that said it's so easy and the glue comes right off. DON'T USE GOO-B-GONE! It smells like $#%* and it was very difficult to finally get the odor out. Ended up taking both visors off to clean and air them out. Highly overrated mod. Mine looks good now, but it took a lot more work than the 10 minute trap I stepped in.

don't bother screwing with them. check out carskinz.com had mine covered in leather and c6 flags embroidered on them. looks much better quality than any kind of sticker or glue remover. the factory puts the stickers on with heat and adhesive.

I used my son's left over skateboard grip tape to cover those ugly stickers. Best part is the flat black texture is very similar to the texture of the top frame above the visors. Now they are hardly noticable.

There are several of the forum sponsor vendors that have created a variety of high quality vinyl coverings precisely sized to cover those ugly stickers on the visors- - you can chose various C6 themes, phrases or in my case, simply the C6's crossed flags.
Inexpensive, 2 minute mod with absolutely zero hassle.
Here's the link to one vendor I used--am fairly certain they're a forum sponsor: http://c6decaldesigns.com/

Mid America has decals that exactly match the OEM visor material. The same product is available from SunVisor Solutions at a lower cost. I used them and am very pleased.

I ordered the very first three mods for my new vert together: Mild 2 Wild switch; factory color rear license frame; and sunvisor label covers. I decided on the label covers because I really hated the stock look, and the covers looked good on my last vert. FWIW I had gotten advice to remove the stock labels using heat/peel followed by removal of residue with duct tape. This sounded funky to me so I got the covers and had no regrets.

Your right SonofDreams I only got 99.99% of mine off. I used a heat gun to warm the decals then pulled them off then I used goof off to get the residue. It worked like a champ.
