Default Lug nuts 05-07 and 08-09

Question arose in another thread and I was curious if the lug nuts have remained the same over 2005 to 2009 models?

Hey neighbor-

Are you talking about the lugs themselves or the bolts. Obviously, different rims will have different lugs, but I think they all will fit the bolts from '05 through '09.

He's asking if the lug nuts are different, the lug is a specialized bolt.

I don't see why they should be different as far as the specs (M12x1.5 with cone seat) go. My '03 and '08 Z06s share the same lug nuts. Lug nuts are also interchangeable with my two '98 M3s (with stud conversion), my old '98 Amigo, '02 Civic, '95-'96 Talon, '95 LS400, and, I'm pretty sure, truckloads of other cars out there that use metric lug nuts (unless it's a Nissan or a Subaru which use 12x1.25).

Advance Discount auto has a lug nut book next to the shelf.

It tells you the size and compatibility year to year

I just didn't want to get a set of chrome 5 spoke wheels off of an 06 and then have a lug nut issue. I have previously had it happen with wheels on my GTO due to the small diameter for the lug nuts to fit into I had to go out and buy really small diameter lug nuts, and a thin walled deep well socket to get them on and off.
