opening door

Anyone ever have a problem opening the door on a c6 convertible? Sometimes when i push the switch the red light starts to blink and the window goes down a little and nothing happens. Sometimes take several tries. Anybody have this happen to them.

no. sounds like you have issues. might try re-indexing the windows. or even disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. what year is your car, btw?

Sounds like a bad switch. Have it replaced under warranty or just buy one. There cheap and easy to replace.

Sometimes my passenger door doesn't open (from the inside) on the first attempt. I haven't had the car long enough yet though to figure out if it is a locked-door-related issue or something else.

My driver side door has issues when trying to enter. Its not that big of a deal but is kinda annoying. 2005 coupe

I have a little problem with this as well.
Shouldnt really call it a problem, but sometimes it does take a few tries to open the driver side door vs the passanger side which would open if the wind blew on it wrong.

I have to use the FOB to unlock the drivers side door. I have tried both fobs. I have replaced the door pressure switches and the antennae. When I press the door switch, I hear the computer working and watch the light turn red but no open for me. Once I press the unlock on the FOB, no problem. Trunk and passenger side are fine. I gotta take it to the dealer someday.....just dreading it.
